'Type A' radio (wireless) microphones share the same radio frequencies that major
broadcasting stations all across Japan use for FPU(Field Pickup Unit) to relay
and transmit TV images.
That's why possession of radio microphones requires the Licenses for Land Mobile Radio
Stations, and its operation necessitates careful planning beforehand
with broadcasting stations and other radio microphone users.
That's exactly where Specified Radiomicrophone User's Federation(SRUF)
comes in---to facilitate communication between the users
and to ensure interference-free operation.
The federation is the only users' organization approved by the Ministry of Public
Management,Home Affairs, Posts and Telecommunications (MPHPT).
You' ve simply got to join it if you want to possess and operate 'Type A' radio microphones.
(TV stations with FPU are exempted.)
You will help keep public broadcasting environment interference-free as well!
