Using a number of 'Type A' radio microphones
at the same time in each other's vicinity
can cause interference, and this limits rather
severely the number of channels that are
available at any time. Even using Type A's
and FPU together in close neighborhood could
often cause similar problems and difficulties.

In order to prevent them and to have smooth
operation, you've got to know who is going
to use which frequencies at which time slots
in the area you intend to use the Type A's.
You might even have to talk to other users
for allocation of available channels.
SRUF is always in touch with NHK(Nippon Hoso
Kyokai/Japan Broadcasting Corpration) local
stations and other FPU users as well as users
of Type A devices, so that arrangements can
be made before any untoward problems might
occur. (Radio-microphones for ear-monitoring
use the same frequencies and the Radio Law
defines them as Specified Radio Microphones.) |
